Where Supercars driver contracts stand after Kostecki bombshell

Brodie Kostecki's mega deal to remain with the Shell V-Power Racing Team sees the 2023 Supercars champion locked in with the Ford squad into the next decade.

Confirmed Sunday, Kostecki has inked an extension to remain with Dick Johnson Racing until at least 2030.

It's a massive victory for the team, which has also opted for youth in signing Super2 title favourite Rylan Gray.

Earlier this year, Triple Eight Race Engineering locked down Broc Feeney and Will Brown until the end of 2029, with Tickford Racing also securing Cam Waters and Thomas Randle for the next two seasons.

Cameron Hill (Brad Jones Racing), Jobe Stewart (Erebus Motorsport) and James Golding (Blanchard Racing Team) were all announced to have signed multi-year deals, with Erebus CEO Barry Ryan hinting that Stewart could be locked down until 2028.

From there, it's a case of drivers returning for another season with their existing teams, or drivers signing on for 2026.

Penrite Racing (Matt Payne, Kai Allen), Toyota-bound Walkinshaw Andretti United (Chaz Mostert, Ryan Wood) and Team 18 (Anton De Pasquale, David Reynolds) will remain unchanged into 2026.

Mostert signed a “multi-year” extension with WAU in 2023, and will be with Toyota in 2026. Wood signed an extension in 2024, which covers multiple years beyond 2025, taking the Kiwi to at least the end of the 2027 Supercars season.

Incumbents Andre Heimgartner, Macauley Jones (BJR) and Cooper Murray (Erebus Motorsport) are also locked in for next season.

Team 18 took up a one-year option on Reynolds, while Aaron Cameron earned an extension with BRT. Triple Eight/SCT Motorsport has also signed rookie Jackson Walls.

PremiAir Racing has signed Jayden Ojeda and Declan Fraser, while Matt Stone Racing welcomes Jack Le Brocq and rookie Zach Bates.
