Matt Stone Racing announces 2026 Le Brocq deal

The 2026 Repco Supercars Championship grid continues to take shape, with Jack Le Brocq sealing a return to Matt Stone Racing.

Le Brocq, whose departure from Erebus Motorsport was announced earlier on Wednesday, will reunite with the team he carried to an historic victory in 2023.

The Victorian led MSR to a famous win at Hidden Valley, marking the team's first success since its 2017 debut.

It paved the way to Le Brocq replacing Triple Eight-bound Will Brown at Erebus, where he has spent the last two seasons.

MSR confirmed Le Brocq will drive the #4 Chevrolet Camaro vacated by Cameron Hill, who will join Brad Jones Racing.

"It feels great to be coming back to MSR," Le Brocq said.

"We achieved something really special together in 2023, and I’ve always had a lot of respect for the team and what they’ve built.

"The progress they’ve made since then has been impressive, and I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel and see what we can achieve in 2026."

Le Brocq's news leaves just four seats vacant on the 2026 grid: his Erebus drive, his MSR teammate, and spots at SCT Motorsport/Triple Eight and Blanchard Racing Team.

“Jack played a key role in putting Matt Stone Racing on the map with that incredible win in Darwin,” Stone said.

“He’s a proven race winner, and he knows our team, our culture, and what we stand for. We’re really excited to welcome him back as we continue pushing towards the front of the grid.”
