Blanchard Racing Team renews Aaron Cameron for 2026
Cameron/BRT deal completes 2026 Repco Supercars Championship grid
BRT replaced Aaron Love with Cameron before Round 2
The 2026 Repco Supercars Championship grid is complete, following Aaron Cameron's formal renewal with the Blanchard Racing Team.
Confirmed Thursday, Cameron will continue with BRT into 2026, and will race alongside recruit James Golding.
Cameron was thrown into the deep end after Aaron Love departed the team on the eve of Round 2 in Melbourne. In the 10 rounds since, Cameron has improved race by race, claiming his first top 10 qualifying result in Ipswich, charging towards the lead in Bathurst, and making the Sunday Shootout on the Gold Coast.
"I’ve learnt a lot in my first full year in Supercars, and I feel like we’ve made big steps forward as a team," said Cameron, who will turn 26 in the New Year.
"Every round I’ve become more comfortable in the car and more confident out on track. The team has given me the tools and support to keep improving, and we’ve got a really good thing going heading into next year.
"I’m stoked to continue working with everyone at BRT and to push for even stronger results in 2026."

In a team release, BRT said Cameron "has made strong progress in his rookie year, quickly adapting to the Supercars environment and consistently showcasing his pace across a highly competitive field."
Additionally, Cameron's performances throughout the season "have underlined his development and potential, as both driver and team continue to build momentum heading into 2026."
"Aaron has shown great growth across his first season with us, and it’s been really rewarding to see his confidence and speed develop round by round," said Tim Blanchard, BRT Team Principal and co-owner.
"We’re finishing the year on a strong note, and it’s important we continue that trajectory into 2026. Retaining Aaron gives us stability and a solid foundation to keep building on the progress we’ve made as a team."
BRT Team Manager Kate Harrington added: "From the start, Aaron’s approach has really stood out. He’s put in the effort to learn, to improve, and to become a more complete driver as the season’s gone on.
"The growth he’s shown gives us confidence that he can play a big part in taking BRT forward. We’re proud to continue that journey with him."
Cameron resumes his 2025 campaign at this weekend's Penrite Oil Sandown 500.
