Brodie Kostecki signs massive Dick Johnson Racing extension
Kostecki signs extension with DJR through to the end of 2030
2023 champion to be partnered by rookie Rylan Gray next season
Brodie Kostecki has committed his long-term future to the Shell V-Power Racing Team, signing a multi-year contract extension.
Announced Sunday, the 2023 Supercars champion has inked an extension with Dick Johnson Racing through to the end of 2030.
Kostecki now has the longest deal of all current drivers, with Broc Feeney and Will Brown both signed with Red Bull Ampol Racing through 2029.
The 2024 Bathurst 1000 winner joined DJR in 2025 from Erebus Motorsport, and qualified for The Finals after wins in Townsville and The Bend.
The West Aussie driver will be joined next season by rookie Rylan Gray, who will make his full-time Supercars debut following a standout Super2 campaign with Tickford Autosport.
"Extending here was an easy decision because I can see where this team is heading,” Kostecki said.
"We've got the right people, the right infrastructure, and now the right timeline to build something special.
"The next five years are about winning championships, and I want to be the one delivering them for Dick, the Doc [Ryan Story], the Ralph family, and everyone at the Shell V-Power Racing Team."
Kostecki emerged as a title favourite heading into The Finals, before a qualifying crash on the Gold Coast ended his charge early.

The 28-year-old has one more round to finish his 2025 campaign on a high before he looks to add a second drivers’ championship to his CV in 2026.
Team founder Johnson said: "This is an exciting day for the entire team and we’re stoked to be making this announcement.
”Brodie is an exceptional talent and has a unique understanding of these cars and know how to maximise their potential.
"There’s plenty more to come in 2026 and beyond and we can’t wait to see what Brodie delivers in the years ahead.
"Together with Brodie, our team is creating the momentum we need to help us chase championships and add more trophies to the cabinet. It’s a bloody exciting time to be part of the Shell V-Power Racing Team.”
Kostecki will conclude his 2025 Supercars season at the bp Adelaide Grand Final on November 27-30.
