Toyota has teased the body look of its new Gen3 GR Supra ahead of the Japanese manufacturer's entry into the Repco Supercars Championship in 2026.
Six Supras will hit the grid in 2026, led by two from homologation team Walkinshaw Andretti United, and four out of Brad Jones Racing.
A full-scale clay model of the Supra was unveiled to the public at last year's Repco Bathurst 1000, bringing fans closer to what to expect on track in 2026.
On Wednesday, Toyota's official social media accounts released a teaser of composite panels being applied to the Supra, which will be formally unveiled on September 1 in Sydney.
The September 1 launch comes in the lead-up to October's Repco Bathurst 1000, where the car will also be on display.
The latest teaser comes after Toyota released a video of the engine that will power its Supras next season, as well as the chassis build and welding of a new-for-2026 Supra.
The current shape will be tested on a prototype in the lead-up to the September 1 launch, before a Supra joins a Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro in the United States for wind tunnel testing in December.
The wind tunnel testing will be crucial in the effort to ensure aerodynamic parity between the three cars, with three different brands to take to the track in the main game for the first time since 2019.
The 2025 Repco Supercars Championship continues at the AirTouch 500 at The Bend from September 12-14, and will open the Ryco Enduro Cup. Tickets are on sale now.
