Nash Morris has claimed his first career victory in the Dunlop Super2 Series following a dominant drive in Race 4 of the 2025 season in Tasmania.

Morris converted his front row start perfectly, as he got the jump on polesitter Zach Bates and was never headed in a flawless drive to the top step.

Morris' maiden race win saw the 21-year-old climb to third in the round standings, as teammate Rylan Gray secured the round victory finishing third in Race 4 behind Bates.

Capping off an amazing weekend for Tickford Autosport, Reuben Goodall came home in fifth to claim second for the round, completing an all-Tickford round podium.

"It's been a pretty dream weekend, to be honest," Gray said.

"Just made a little mistake in the Shootout that cost us quite a bit, so super pumped to come out with a round win and the championship lead.

"If we stayed green, I might've had [Bates], but you never know. We had a good battle out there, and it was good to see Nash get his first race win."

It was a clean run through the first lap for the 23 car field, however Reuben Goodall lost two spots with a tardy exit out of the hairpin on the opening lap, with teammates Rylan Gray and Lochie Dalton making their way by.

The Safety Car would make an appearance on Lap 3 as Ayrton Hodson pulled over on the back straight with fluid pouring from the #28 Anderson Motorsport Mustang with a potential engine or transaxle failure.

Morris outdid Bates once again on the Lap 8 restart, with Bates lagging behind and being pressure by Bailey Sweeny's Blanchard Racing Team entry.

However, Sweeny would be demoted to fourth as Gray made his way by at the end of the back straight on the restart lap, and would fade through the field as he struggled with front locking through Turns 1 and 2.

There was drama further back in the pack off the restart, as Mason Kelly spun Jobe Stewart at Turn 2 on Lap 11, skittling the pack behind.

Stewart's Erebus Academy stablemate Max Geoghegan was left with nowhere to go and speared into the side of the #99 Commodore, with both cars limping back to the pits and into retirement.

Gray's charge through the field from fifth on the grid looked set to continue as he ranged up to the back of Bates in the dying laps, however the Safety Car was called for the second time with three laps to go.

Ryan Tomsett capped off a difficult day for Anderson Motorsport when he locked up at Turn 4, and parked against the armco on Lap 33, beached in the gravel trap.

Behind the podium, local Lochie Dalton had a strong run to finish fourth for Tickford, ahead of teammate Goodall, Jackson Walls, Cody Burcher, Brad Vaughan, Sweeny, and Jarrod Hughes.

Round 3 of the 2025 Dunlop Super2 Series will be held at the NTI Townsville 500 from July 11-13.
