Air Force Roulettes to soar above Snowy River Caravans Tasmania Super 440

The spectacular Royal Australian Air Force Roulettes will light up the skies above Symmons Plains Raceway, with dazzling aerobatic displays set to thrill fans at the Snowy River Caravans Tasmania Super440.

The renowned team of elite pilots will perform on both Saturday and Sunday, showcasing their incredible precision flying in the state-of-the-art Pilatus PC-21 aircraft. Their synchronised manoeuvres and breathtaking aerobatics are sure to be a highlight of the event.

Adding to the excitement, the Roulettes will also perform a special Mother’s Day display on Sunday, providing an unforgettable experience for families celebrating at the track.

Event Manager Matthew Gegg said the performances would be a perfect addition to an already action-packed weekend.

"We’re thrilled to have the Air Force Roulettes join us at the Snowy River Caravans Tasmania Super440," Gegg said.

"Their displays are absolutely world-class and to have them perform a special Mother’s Day show is something really unique for our fans. It’s going to be an incredible atmosphere both on the ground and in the sky."

This year’s event will showcase the new-look Supercars format, with three races, an all-new Top Ten Shootout, and intense qualifying sessions.

Supercars will hit the track for the first time on Friday with two 30-minute practice sessions, setting the stage for an action-filled weekend.

Saturday will feature back-to-back qualifying sessions for Races 11 and 12, followed by two 120km races.

On Sunday, drivers will battle for pole position in a three-part knockout qualifying session before competing in a 200km showdown in Race 13.

Fans of the next generation of Supercars stars will see Dunlop Super2 Series action across all three days, alongside thrilling racing from V8 SuperUtes and Touring Car Masters. The Dunlop Super2 Series will on the Sunday of the event stage its first ever Top 5 Shootout bringing a new element to the Symmons Plains event.
