Aaron Love and Jake Kostecki’s Bathurst campaign with the Blanchard Racing Team will be backed by Petronas.

Love and Kostecki will again pair up in a BRT-run #7 Ford Mustang wildcard Supercar at this weekend’s Repco Bathurst 1000.

The two young drivers recently paired up at the Penrite Oil Sandown 500, with their car backed by Racer Industries.

The Petronas Lubricants range encompasses a diverse offering of high-performance engine oils, greases and transmission fluids.

Petronas branding has already graced a Blanchard car this year, with Love’s Super2 Mustang carrying Petronas colours.

For Bathurst, however, the wildcard livery has drawn inspiration from the look carried by the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team.

The Blanchard family-owned CoolDrive Auto Parts has partnered with Petronas Lubricants International (Australia) to supply the leading brand’s products to mechanical workshops throughout Australia.

The #7 Ford will also carry support from myCOOLMAN.

“For BRT, having PETRONAS on the grid at the Bathurst 1000 is an exciting prospect,” Blanchard said.

“It truly validates our Super2 program – not only have we been able to develop Aaron and prove his skills by participating in the main game for this wildcard campaign, our PETRONAS partnership also steps up to the next level.

“PETRONAS has an incredible legacy in motorsport, and without a doubt, the livery will be a standout on Mount Panorama.

“Both Aaron and Jake put in a solid effort at Sandown, and with that experience under their belts, they should be in a position to have a great run at Bathurst."

Amarpreet Singh Ahuja, PETRONAS Lubricants International Australia Pty Ltd CEO, added: "Bathurst is an incredible platform for PETRONAS Lubricants International (Australia) to showcase our unwavering association with motorsports and is a testament to our commitment to our long-standing partner CoolDrive Auto Parts."

The new-look wildcard Ford, one of three wildcards entered in this year’s Great Race, will hit the track on Thursday.
