Aaron Cameron earns Blanchard Racing Team contract renewal
Cameron signs extension through to at least the end of 2028
Victorian joined BRT after opening round of 2025 season
Aaron Cameron will go around again with the Blanchard Racing Team, after earning a multi-year contract renewal.
The Victorian joined BRT after the opening round of the 2025 season, after the Ford squad parted ways with Aaron Love.
Cameron has shown glimpses of speed and racecraft since, famously boxing on with Broc Feeney in Adelaide last year, before converting a stunning front row start into a maiden podium in Sydney in February.
The 26-year-old's position of 20th in the championship doesn't tell the full story, with Cameron among the most consistent qualifiers in the first half of the season, only undone by incidents.
The new deal keeps Cameron at BRT until at least 2028.
“Aaron’s speed has never been in question, and this year he’s shown what he’s capable of when it’s all come together,” team boss Tim Blanchard said.
“What’s impressed me just as much is how he’s developed off the track, the time he puts into the workshop and how much the crew enjoy working with him.
“We believe his best is still ahead of him, and a multi-year deal is about backing that and giving him a stable platform to deliver it.”
Cameron said: “I’m really happy to have locked in the next few years with BRT.
“I love being part of this team, the guys and girls work so hard and you can see where it’s heading.
“Having the same people around me means a lot, so a big thanks to Tim, JB [John Blanchard] and everyone at BRT for backing me.
“There’s plenty more to come from us.”
The 2026 Supercars season resumes at the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 on October 23-25.
