Team 18 Camaros to carry enhanced Chevrolet Racing branding
Chevrolet bow tie added to back half of the both Team 18 Camaros
Team 18 replaces Triple Eight as General Motors homologation team
It might only be a subtle design tweak for Team 18 on their two Camaros, but it signifies a big shift in the history of Charlie Schwerkolt's team.
With Triple Eight Race Engineering now acting as the homologation team for Ford, Team 18 will step up to become General Motors' homologation partner.
It's a big step for a team that have only won a single race in their entire existence, however they enter 2026 with strong momentum off the back of some strong performances through the Finals rounds last year.
That renewed energy has been conveyed into their standardised team livery design, which incorporates the Chevrolet bow tie on the back half of the car, fading from the primary sponsor's colour to black.
Per a team release: "A new Chevrolet logo fade has been incorporated into the design, reflecting Team 18’s expanded responsibilities with Chevrolet and provides a consistent visual identity across the team’s two Camaros."

Designed by renowned livery designer Peter Hughes, the designs are a clear indicator that the team are looking to carry their momentum into the new season, and lead the new 'Team Chevy' alliance.
“Peter Hughes has done an outstanding job on the design. The car looks sharp, professional and presents more of a cohesive team look this year, it reflects the direction we’re taking as a team heading into 2026," said Schwerkolt.
“As we head into our first full season as Chevrolet Racing’s homologation partner, the focus is on being more consistent and performing at a high level every weekend. We finished 2025 strongly and want to carry that momentum forward.”
"The launch of a new livery is always a highlight, and this year it represents the start of an exciting new chapter in our partnership with Team 18 as we look ahead to the next two years together," said Stanley Black & Decker Partnerships Manager Matthew Francis.
"The integration of the Chevrolet logo into the #18 Camaro livery reflects Team 18’s continued growth and their evolution into a new era of Supercars racing, an era we are proud and excited to be part of."
Fans can catch the new look Team 18 Camaros on track in Sydney on February 20-22. Tickets, including for the free Friday, are on sale now.
