Seiko and Supercars collaborate for special edition watch
Seiko 5 Sports 2026 Supercars Limited Edition limited to 1,500 pieces
New releases the first GMT watch created for Supercars
Seiko and Supercars have launched the 2026 season in style at the DUNLOP Sydney 500, unveiling the Seiko 5 Sports 2026 Supercars Limited Edition — the first GMT watch ever created for the Championship.
Limited to just 1,500 pieces, the new SSK057K continues a partnership that began in 2014 and celebrates the passion, performance and precision that define Supercars.
“Our partnership with Seiko has always been built on shared values of precision, performance and innovation,” said Jamie Black, Chief Revenue Officer of Supercars.
“This 2026 Supercars Limited Edition watch is a genuine reflection of our championship — engineered for performance, designed with purpose, and deeply connected to the fans who follow Supercars across the country.
“The introduction of the first ever GMT watch for Supercars is a fitting evolution of a long standing partnership and a standout collectible for our community.”
The 2026 edition introduces a GMT complication for the first time, a natural fit for a category that races across six time zones in Australia and New Zealand.
Powered by the Automatic Calibre 4R34 with 100 metres water resistance, the new model delivers everyday toughness with functionality Supercars fans will appreciate, allowing them to keep track of multiple time zones as the season travels around the region.
The racing DNA is unmistakable, with a carbonfibre patterned dial, matching leather strap, and red highlights on the GMT hand, seconds hand and chapter ring. The watch will be featured atop the pit lane stop/go indicator, reinforcing its direct link to the championship.
The crown and case back feature Supercars branding, and each piece carries its own individual limited-edition number.
“The Supercars Championship spans incredible locations and time zones across Australia and New Zealand, bringing passionate fans together wherever the series races," said Daniel Findlay, Seiko Australia Marketing Manager.
"The GMT function on the new Supercars watch is our tribute to every stop on the calendar and to the amazing fans in each location. We’re proud of our long-standing partnership with the Supercars Championship and excited for another great season ahead.”
Each watch arrives in a specially designed Collector’s Box with an official Seiko Supercars pin, a cleaning cloth and a numbered certificate featuring all Supercars racetracks — a true collector’s piece for motorsport fans and watch enthusiasts alike.
The Seiko 5 Sports 2026 Supercars Limited Edition (SSK057K) is available for preorder now through the Seiko Online Boutique and Seiko Boutiques.
The new watch arrives just in time for the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship season, which gets underway today at the DUNLOP Sydney 500.
