Matt Stone Racing make several personnel changes
Oli Boone to engineer Jack Le Brocq, Caleb Mutsaerts engineering Zach Bates
Former DJR staffer Nick Testu hired as Head of Commercial
Matt Stone Racing has swung changes with key personnel ahead of the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship.
It's all change on several fronts at Yatala, with Jack Le Brocq and rookie Zach Bates replacing the retired Nick Percat and Brad Jones Racing-bound Cameron Hill.
Confirmed Friday, the team will also enter 2026 with fresh management and engineering changes as the Camaro squad aims to reach The Finals for the first time.
At the centre of MSR's restructure are several key internal promotions; notably, veteran Paul Forgie has been appointed Team Manager, while former Race Engineer Jack Bellotti steps into the role of Head of Engineering.
Oli Boone has been promoted to Race Engineer for Le Brocq's car, having ended 2025 overseeing Percat. Caleb Mutsaerts will continue as Race Engineer on the #10 entry, working with Bates.
Simon Helps has also been promoted from No.1 Mechanic to Crew Chief.
The team has also made some strategic new appointments, with Charles Bratt joining as Super2 Lead Engineer, working closely with Jason McDermott, with former Dick Johnson Racing commercial boss Nick Testu appointed Head of Commercial.
MSR follows Erebus Motorsport and DJR in announcing management changes ahead of the new season.
Team owner Matt Stone said the changes reflect the team’s ambitions and belief in its people.
“2026 is looking like our best year to date,” MSR owner Matt Stone said.
“We have made some adjustments to our structure internally with a view to gain efficiencies and produce even better results on and off-track. We’ve also recruited additional people in key areas of the business to continue to grow the team.
“We have a great group of like-minded, driven people across the entire organisation. The foundations are in place, and now is the time to level up."
