Matt Stone Racing confirm Aaron Seton as second co-driver
Third generation driver to join Zach Bates in Bendix Camaro
Seton to also pilot a third MSR Camaro at Ipswich
Matt Stone Racing have officially confirmed the return of Aaron Seton to their co-driving roster for the 2026 Ryco Enduro Cup.
The third generation driver, grandson of the late Barry "Bo" Seton, and son of Glenn, will step into the #10 Bendix Camaro alongside full-time rookie Zach Bates for the long distance races at The Bend and Bathurst.
Seton, who currently races in GT4 alongside MSR co-owner Jason Gomersall, will also step behind the wheel of a third MSR Camaro at the Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440 in August in a wildcard cameo to gain extra miles.
Confirmation of Seton's return completes MSR's enduro lineup, following confirmation that Cameron Crick would team up with Jack Le Brocq. Crick and Seton shared a wildcard MSR entry in last year's Ryco Enduro Cup.
“I’m really excited to be back with Matt Stone Racing for 2026. Last year’s wildcard program was a great step forward for me, not just in terms of results but also in building strong relationships within the team” Seton said.
“Zach is a great young guy and a massive talent, I’m excited to take on this years enduro season with him alongside the wildcard entry – and hopefully bring home some strong results for the team.”
Stone added: “We’ve worked hard to build a group of people who believe in what we’re doing, and Aaron fits into that dynamic perfectly. Continuing with him was an easy decision.”
“This year is about backing our people and building consistency as we keep moving forward. We’re not here to stand still; we’re here to keep climbing, and we’re excited to have Aaron on-board in 2026.”
It continues a long-standing relationship between Seton and MSR, the 27-year-old having initially linked up with the squad in the 2021 DUNLOP Super2 Series, culminating in a Bathurst debut alongside Le Brocq in 2022.
MSR also teased further wildcard announcements will be made in due course. The team run two ZB Commodores in Super2 for Ayrton Hodson and Tommy Smith, and offer technical support for Alice Buckley's family operation.
The announcement leaves Brad Jones Racing as the only team yet to officially announce their co-drivers, with vacancies in all three of their Toyotas alongside Andre Heimgartner, Cameron Hill, and Macauley Jones.
The 2026 Ryco Enduro Cup begins with the AirTouch 500 at The Bend from September 11-13, before the Repco Bathurst 1000 from October 8-11.
The 2026 Repco Supercars Championship continues at the Tyrepower Tasmania Super 440 from May 22-24. Tickets are on sale now.
