Jobe Stewart to run fan-favourite bonnet design in Christchurch
New design was entered in Students on Track bonnet design competition
After strong online fan reaction, Erebus helped bring design to life
Erebus rookie Jobe Stewart has a tweaked livery for this weekend's ITM Christchurch Super 440.
The #9 Camaro will once again sport a predominantly black livery with Erebus Motorsport branding, however the bonnet will look significantly different.
This is as a result of one of the numerous entries entered into a local competition to design a Supercars bonnet livery.
The design was entered into the Students on Track bonnet design competition open to school students in the Canterbury region, with the winning design applied onto the promotional Toyota Supra.
However, it was the design of 10-year-old Ryan that got the strongest reaction online, with fans loving the unique and light-hearted design centred around a goose named 'Honk'.
Running an otherwise all-black car, Erebus decided to bring the design to life for this weekend, with the wrap applied to the car yesterday.
Stewart has taken the new-look bonnet livery onto the circuit this morning, for the first-ever Supercars session held at Ruapuna.
