Championship-winning Triple Eight Chevrolet Camaro sold
Will Brown raced the Camaro to the 2024 title, and second in 2025
Triple Eight moved from Camaros to Mustangs in 2026
A famous piece of Triple Eight Supercars history has been sold.
The Chevrolet Camaro that Will Brown raced to the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship title has been sold to a private collector.
The car, chassis 888A-066, was raced by Brown in the 2024 and 2025 seasons. He won the 2024 championship with a race to spare, and finished second overall in 2025.
Brown nicknamed the car 'Rhonda', before being moved into a brand-new Ford Mustang for 2026.
The sale was facilitated by Young Timers Garage. The car had been purchased from the team by Triple Eight shareholders Earl Evans and Steve Blackmore last year.
The Camaro is presented in Brown's 2025 colours.
"Winning Red Bull Ampol Racing Triple Eight Race Engineering’s very last Holden/GM championship before making the switch back to the blue oval, “Rhonda” is a truly special Chevrolet Camaro Gen3 Supercar," YTG said.
"We are honoured to have been able to facilitate this sale on behalf of Triple Eight, a huge thank you to Stephen Blackmore, Jamie Whincup, Kris Goos and the entire Triple Eight team for entrusting us to deliver a successful sale, off market, in the lead up to the great race this weekend.
"We are looking forward to working with T8 again in the future as one of the most successful teams of the modern Supercars era."
Triple Eight resumes its 2026 campaign at this weekend's Repco Bathurst 1000.
