Two Tasmanians feature among 23-car field
Jordyn Sinni leads standings for Eggleston Motorsport
An unchanged 23-car field will contest Round 2 of the 2025 Dunlop Super2 Series to be held at Symmons Plains in Tasmania.
All 23 drivers will be making their Super2 debuts in Tasmania, which has only hosted two Super2 rounds in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
Two Tasmanians will feature in the Super2 field next weekend, with Hobart's Campbell Logan and Launceston-born Lochie Dalton both set to embrace the support of their home crowd.
Round 2 will also feature a history-making Top Five Shootout to determine the front of the grid for Race 4 on Sunday, the first one-lap qualifying session held in series history.
Having been initially set to re-join the series after missing the opening round in Sydney, Matt Chahda Motorsport will once again be missing in action, with team owner Amin Chahda recovering from a health scare.
The privateer team based in Albury are aiming to return for Round 3 of the 2025 season at the NTI Townsville 500 in July, and could be running as many as three cars.
Eggleston Motorsport's Jordyn Sinni leads the championship by six points over Cameron McLeod, with top rookie Ben Gomersall rounding out the top three for Triple Eight, just 15 points behind Sinni.
