Supercars welcomes Tyrepower’s return as the Official Tyre Retail Partner of the Repco Supercars Championship, as part of a new three-year agreement that will see the iconic Australian brand partner the Championship through at least 2027.

The partnership reaffirms Tyrepower’s long-standing association with Supercars, which began with the famous Tyrepower Cutting being introduced at the Bathurst 1000 in 2006.

A key feature of the renewed partnership will see the Tyrepower Cutting reinstated from 2025, where it is a strong chance to be the site of more iconic moments in the history of the Great Race.

Tyrepower’s return to Supercars also sees a further extension of its deep commitment to Australian Motorsport.

Along with its continued support as naming rights partner of the V8 SuperUtes, Tyrepower was today announced as the naming rights partner of Jack Le Brocq’s No. 9 Erebus Motorsport Chevrolet Camaro for the 2025 Supercars season, further solidifying Tyrepower’s position as a key player in the sector.

Tyrepower General Manager, Rob Smith, shared his excitement of a return to Supercars for Tyrepower: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be returning as the Official Tyre Retail Partner of the Repco Supercars Championship. Supercars is one of Australia’s most iconic sports that serves as a genuine touchpoint for our store network and customers across the country.

“Our decades long connection with the Championship, as well as our exciting work with Erebus Motorsport and the Tyrepower V8 SuperUte Series, makes this partnership a perfect fit for Tyrepower in rounding out of fully fledged alignment with Australian motorsport.

“We’re also particularly looking forward to bringing back the famous Tyrepower Cutting at Mount Panorama, which has always been a favourite of our network of over 300 independent and family run Australian businesses that hold a genuine affinity for the Supercars community.”

Supercars General Manager – Commercial, Jamie Black, welcomed the new three-year deal with Tyrepower: “We are delighted to welcome Tyrepower back as the Official Tyre Retail Partner for the 2025 season and beyond. Tyrepower has been a significant supporter of Australian motorsport for many years, and their continued partnership with Supercars is a testament to the strength and value of their brand to the sport.

“We look forward to working closely with them to engage their store network and customer base nationwide, while creating memorable experiences, and further elevate the Supercars Championship by association with Tyrepower.”

As part of the partnership, Tyrepower will continue to leverage its extensive tyre retail store network across Australia, enhancing its connection with motorsport fans and driving brand recognition both within and beyond the paddock.

The 2025 Repco Supercars Championship begins in just under a fortnight at the Thrifty Sydney 500, taking place February 21-23 at Sydney Motorsport Park.

The 2025 season opener will play host to three Supercars races, as well as four races from the Tyrepower V8 SuperUtes.

Adding to the action will be a high-octane Pit Party following Saturday night’s Supercars race, where electronic artists and performers Timmy Trumpet and Sunset Bros will play on SMP’s Pit Straight, with fans welcomed onto the track for the heart-pumping show.

Tickets and corporate hospitality options for the Supercars season opener can be purchased via Supercars.com and Ticketek, with all tickets valid for Saturday granting access to the post-race party on Pit Straight.

The Thrifty Sydney 500 is proudly supported by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
