Coopers releases commemorative Supercars can
New Coopers Dry 3.5 Supercars Gold Coast can revealed
Cans available exclusively in the main public bars and corporate areas
Coopers Brewery has shifted up a gear in its sponsorship of Supercars with the release of a new commemorative can.
Australia’s largest independent brewery will be releasing the new Coopers Dry 3.5 Supercars can at the Gold Coast 500 in October.
The cans will be available exclusively in the main public bars and corporate areas at the marquee event which is expected to attract around 200,000 race goers.
Coopers Dry 3.5 is a mid-strength low carb, low gluten lager with a crisp and refreshing taste.
In developing the new packaging Coopers worked closely with can supplier Orora utilising the very latest digital printing technology, Helio. The new Supercars can is one of the first to market featuring Helio.
“Orora really pushed the boundaries on this design to make the can standout with a broad spectrum of colour and unique texture,” Coopers Managing Director Michael Shearer said.
“The end result is a great looking can that holds a great tasting beer. The Coopers Dry 3.5 Supercars can is truly unique and sure to become a collector’s item among race goers and beer can enthusiasts.”
Coopers is the Official Beer, Cider, & Non-Alcoholic Beer Partner of the Repco Supercars Championship. Under the three-year partnership which began this year, Coopers holds exclusive pourage rights at the majority of Supercars events, where fans can enjoy a wide range of Coopers beverages including Coopers Dry 3.5, Coopers Zero and Coopers Original Pale Ale, among others.
Jamie Black, Supercars Chief Revenue Officer, said: “The launch of the Coopers Dry 3.5 Supercars commemorative can is a fantastic celebration of our partnership. It’s a bold, bright, innovative design that reflects the energy of the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 and the passion of our fans. We’re proud to work with Coopers to bring this unique keepsake trackside.”
The 2025 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 runs from October 24-26 on the streets of Main Beach and Surfers Paradise.
