Trackside restaurant from Norté added to Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500
Brand-new on-track dining experience brings fans even closer to the action
Queensland’s largest annual sporting event returns October 24-26
The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 is turning up the heat this October with the launch of a brand-new on-track dining experience, bringing fans even closer to the action at the iconic Beach Chicane.
Queensland’s largest annual sporting event returns October 24-26 with three days of motorsport and entertainment on the streets of Surfers Paradise.
Gold Coast dining icons Rick Shores have partnered with Supercars to introduce an elevated hospitality offering located on the iconic Beach Chicane at this year’s event.
This premium experience is brought to life by the award-winning team behind Rick Shores, featuring vibrant Latin American restaurant, Norté.
Recently named one of Australia’s Top 100 Restaurants, Norté guests will indulge in a bold and flavourful menu inspired by Latin American street food, including tostadas, tacos, and Rick Shores’ crowd favourite Bug Roll.
To complement the culinary delights, the experience includes free-flowing French Champagne, handcrafted cocktails, and the electric atmosphere of being right on the edge of the Beach Chicane where Supercars will fly through on two-wheels through one of the most photographed sections of racetrack anywhere in the world.
"We’re always looking for ways to elevate the fan experience, and this new restaurant offering delivers just that,” said Tracey Woodbry, Supercars GM of Corporate Experiences.
“Norté brings a fresh, exciting energy to the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500, combining world-class cuisine with the thrill of motorsport in a way that’s never been done before."
The trackside Norté restaurant is expected to be a popular destination for the 200,000 patrons expected at this year’s event, with its premium experience complementing its premium location at the stunning Beach Chicane.
"We’re incredibly proud to bring Norté trackside for this year’s Gold Coast 500,” said Laura Loubet, Rick Shore Marketing Manager.
“It’s a unique opportunity to showcase our Latin American-inspired menu in one of the most exhilarating environments in Australian sport.
“Fans can expect bold flavours, great vibes, and unforgettable moments just meters away from the racing action on the track.”
The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 is supported by the Queensland Government, through Tourism and Events Queensland’s Major Events Program and Experience Gold Coast.
This year the event will feature Supercars’ first-ever weekend of Finals racing, where 10 of the 24 drivers on track will enter the event with Championship hopes alive, but only seven will come out still with a chance at winning the title.
Off track entertainment is headlined by Friday night’s performances by The Stafford Brothers and Brooke Evers, and Saturday night’s blockbuster DJ set by international icons Groove Armada. Same day tickets gain entry to the concerts for all ages.
The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 takes place October 24–26, with tickets and corporate hospitality packages available via Supercars.com.
