Erebus reveals local livery, naming rights for Perth
Cooper Murray to carry branding from WA-owned Vibe Petroleum
Murray 23rd in points heading to Round 5 in Perth
Erebus Motorsport has welcomed new naming rights on rookie Cooper Murray's Chevrolet Camaro for the upcoming Bosch Power Tools Perth Super 440.
Murray's #99 Camaro will carry a new livery and naming rights from Western Australian-owned Vibe Petroleum for the June 6-8 event.
Vibe Petroleum has built a strong presence across WA through its growing network of independently-operated service stations.
It continues Erebus' rolling sponsorship model of the #99, which carried Chiko branding in Sydney, Young Timers Garage colours in Melbourne and New Zealand, and Snap-on colours in Tasmania.
Another WA-grown business, PowerPlay, along with iced coffee company Dare Charged, will also support the #99 at CARCO.com.au Raceway.
PowerPlay returns after providing naming rights for the team's Brodie Kostecki/Todd Hazelwood entry at last year's Penrite Oil Sandown 500.
Erebus revealed digital renders of the new-look Vibe Camaro just days out from this weekend's event.
“It’s great to have a WA-based company like Vibe backing us for Perth,” Murray said.
“Having local support always adds something extra to a race weekend. With Dare and PowerPlay involved as well, there’s a lot of energy behind the team and I’m looking forward to making the most of it.”
Erebus CEO Barry Ryan said: “It’s good to have Vibe on board for their home round, with support from Dare and also PowerPlay back as well.
"These are all brands that back young people, back WA, and back our team – and that means a lot.”
The Bosch Power Tools Perth Super 440 runs across three days with two practice sessions on Friday and three races across Saturday and Sunday.
