Cooper Murray to sport TotalEnergies livery at final two rounds
Rookie currently 18th in points standings
Season highlighted by fourth place at Bathurst alongside 2026 teammate Jobe Stewart
Erebus Motorsport rookie Cooper Murray will sport a new look as the 2023 teams' champions welcome a new naming rights partner.
Murray will sport a vibrant new TotalEnergies look for the final two rounds of the 2025 Repco Supercars Finals Series at the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 and the bp Adelaide Grand Final.
The rookie currently sits 18th in the points standings, in a season highlighted by a stunning drive to fourth at the Repco Bathurst 1000 alongside Erebus Academy prospect Jobe Stewart.
Erebus, a long-time supporter of young talent, will promote Stewart into a full-time seat next year alongside Murray, with the new TotalEnergies partnership set to add what already shapes as an exciting year for the team.
The team have already been using TotalEnergies products throughout the season, including lubricants and fluids.
“This partnership is a huge boost for our team heading into the last two rounds of the season,” Erebus CEO Barry Ryan said.
“We’re focused on finishing the year strong, and having TotalEnergies onboard adds further technical strength to what we’re building with our young driver line-up as we head into 2026. Their support helps us continue pushing for results on track and improvement off it.”
Murray is also looking forward to finishing his campaign off strong with the new colour scheme.
The 24-year-old finished a sensational fifth at last year's Sandown enduro alongside Craig Lowndes, and deputised for current teammate Jack Le Brocq for his first Erebus starts last year in Adelaide, as the veteran left after Thursday practice for the birth of his daughter Romy.
“I’m pumped to carry the TotalEnergies colours for these two iconic events,” Murray said.
“Sandown and Adelaide are massive races with incredibly passionate fans, so to have a global brand backing us is awesome. The team has been working hard all year and I’m confident we can finish the season on a high.”
TotalEnergies Managing Director Louis Haendler is excited to start the new partnership: “Erebus has proven they can take the fight to the biggest teams in Supercars, and that underdog mentality and determination really resonates with us.
"This partnership is the perfect platform to showcase our products in Australia’s premier motorsport category.”
Murray and Le Brocq will continue their 2025 seasons at the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 from November 14-16.
