Bass-fueled show by famed DJ duo

Fans flocked to the second night of concert action at a jam-packed Boost Mobile Club 500, headlined by British DJ Carl Cox.

Cox, a well-known motorsport enthusiast and founder of Carl Cox Motorsport, was joined on stage by another globally renowned DJ, Eric Powell.

Thrilling fans with their signature Cox and Powell’s Mobile Disco, partygoers crammed in to see the King of Ibiza light up the Gold Coast stage on Saturday night.

Race 31 Recap: Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500

The Macintosh Island fan precinct erupted following the opening 250km race at Surfers Paradise, won by Shane van Gisbergen.

PremiAir Racing's Jimmy Golding stopped by to enjoy the show, with the fellow DJ lapping up the atmosphere following a gruelling afternoon.

The trademark show featured techno and dance anthems, pyrotechnics, and circus performers.

It marked a welcome return for the famed DJ duo, who last performed for Supercars fans at the Gold Coast event in 2019.

A spectacular fireworks display concluded the opening night at Club 500, featuring a fly board rider stunt show.

The Boost Mobile Club 500 is back for the Surfers Paradise event and will host one more massive night of music performances.

Sunday will feature local Gold Coast stars Brooke Evers and Kota Banks, before finishing with Australian dance music royalty, Sneaky Sound System.

Cars will return on Saturday for Race 32 ARMOR ALL Qualifying at 9:55am local time. Tickets are on sale now.
