V8 Supercars has unveiled a new sharper edge logo with a crisp corporate identity to represent the next generation of the sport.
The catching chrome and silver replaces the previous logo, and ushers in the new era of the sport.
The fresh look was formally introduced this month and will be used on all official V8 Supercar collateral – including the cars, uniforms, licenced products and all commercial, marketing and communications materials - from 2013 onwards. It replaces the former colour Championship logo.
This year V8 Supercars will introduce two new marques to the sport – Nissan and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG – to join traditional manufacturers Ford and Holden.
The sport will also make its debut in Austin, Texas, in May and is developing new markets across the world including the Middle East, Asia and the Americas. V8 Supercars international profile is growing daily as it becomes widely regarded amongst the best motorsport categories in the world.
Today it was announced that the sport will continue to be aired on the Seven Network for the next two years.
