Aerodynamic revisions have been made to the Chevrolet Camaro following further analysis by Supercars.
Following analysis between the two New Zealand rounds last month, minor aero tweaks were made to the Camaro for the ITM Christchurch Super 440.
Additional track testing took place in recent weeks, with Anton De Pasquale stepping behind the wheel of Team 18’s spare Camaro at Queensland Raceway.
Further analysis has determined a small change to further optimise the Camaro package.
In a note sent to the Commission on Friday, Supercars confirmed three minor changes to the Camaro package, effective from the Tyrepower Tasmania Super 440.
The front splitter has been moved forward to its original pre-Christchurch position, the rear wing angle has been increased, and a small packer along the wheel band of the front facia has been installed.
Consultation has taken place with the three homologation teams, namely Team 18 (General Motors), Triple Eight Race Engineering (Ford) and Walkinshaw TWG Racing (Toyota).
Track action at the Tyrepower Tasmania Super 440 commences on Friday May 22.
