The event attracted key dignitaries including Taupō Mayor David Trewavas, Deputy Mayor Kevin Taylor, Taupō District CEO Julie Gardyne, and Michael Kelly, Senior Advisor with New Zealand Major Events, alongside commercial partners and motorsport stakeholders.

This year’s breakfast built on the success of the 2024 event in Taupō and reinforced the organisation’s ongoing commitment to diversity, inclusion, and opportunity. As one of the leading equipment hire companies in Australia.

The 2025 Women in Motorsport Breakfast is proudly backed by Coates and once again shone a spotlight on the people who are shaping the future of motorsport. Whether it’s in engineering, leadership, media, or behind the wheel, women continue to make significant contributions across every level of the sport.

Guests left inspired, with the message clear: representation matters, and with the right support, the next generation of talent will be even stronger.

Supercars’ second-ever event at Taupō International Motorsport Park kicked off on Friday, with the ITM Taupō Super400 running from April 11–13.

Fans in New Zealand can catch all the action live on Sky Sport, with Australian audiences tuning in via Fox Sports and Kayo, and highlights on the Seven Network and 7plus.
