Penrite Racing unveils bold gold 2026 Supercars livery
Bathurst champion team goes back to the future with sleek golden look
Matt Payne/Will Davison, Kai Allen/Tim Slade pairings confirmed
Penrite Racing has unveiled a bold new gold look for 2026, celebrating naming rights partner Penrite Oil's 100 years in business.
After rounding out the 2025 season with 100-year celebrations for Penrite, the Ford team has taken it up a notch for the 2026 campaign.
The Bathurst winning team will run a black and polished gold livery, harking back to the famous John Player Special BMW liveries of the 1980s.
The team launched its season at a private event on Friday evening, with images of the car released the following day. On hand were star drivers Matt Payne and 2025 Grand Finalist Kai Allen, along with co-driving recruits Will Davison and Tim Slade.
The team confirmed two-time Bathurst winner Davison will partner 2025 Great Race champion Payne, who won last year’s race with the now retired Garth Tander. Slade, who arrives from Matt Stone Racing, replaces Dale Wood alongside Allen.

“Celebrating 100 years of Penrite Oil is a special moment for our team. An Australian business and still family owned and operated, it honours their remarkable history,” team owner Stephen Grove said.
"This livery represents more than just a new look. It reflects the strength of our partnerships, which are central to everything we do. It reflects the standards we hold ourselves too and our commitment to present and perform at the highest level.”
Penrite Oil CEO Toby Dymond added: “Reaching our 100th year is a moment we’re incredibly proud of, and the Gold Livery is a meaningful way to mark that milestone.
"Penrite began in 1926 as an Australian made, family-owned business, and seeing ‘19’ and ‘26’ running together on both cars is a reminder of the journey that has brought us here and the legacy we carry forward.
"Throughout the year, we’ll be celebrating our Golden Era with a range of moments and activations that honour our history while looking firmly to the future.
"Motorsport has always been an important part of our story, and we’re excited for what lies ahead this season. I wish Matt Payne and Kai Allen every success as they carry our colours into a year that means so much to the entire Penrite family.”
Payne said: “The new livery looks incredible and gives us even more confidence heading into the season. With the momentum we’ve built and the backing of our partners, we’re excited to get on track and start racing.”
Allen added: “As drivers, we feel the support of our partners every time we step into the car. This livery represents the hard work of the entire team behind the scenes and the legacy of the Penrite Oil brand.
"It looks incredible, the energy within the team is strong, and we can’t wait to get racing.”
The new look Penrite Fords will hit the track at the pre-season test in Sydney on Wednesday February 18, before Round 1 on February 20-22.
