Supercars launched the 2026 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 tonight at The Star Gold Coast
New-look ‘Sound Track’ precinct for 2026 Boost Mobile GC 500 on October 23-25
Festival-style entertainment to thrill fans of all ages, all day

Supercars has unveiled a major entertainment shake-up for this year’s Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 with the launch of ‘Sound Track’, a new live music and festival precinct that will bring a new vibe to headline artists and an all-day party atmosphere to the heart of race weekend.
Taking over MacIntosh Island inside the circuit, Sound Track will transform one of the Gold Coast 500’s most popular fan zones into a dedicated entertainment hub with a blockbuster lineup of live acts and DJs including Bag Raiders, Havana Brown, Guy Contact, Sneaky Sound System and more.
Entertainment in the Sound Track precinct will run through the afternoons and evenings, giving fans a constant soundtrack to race weekend and keeping the precinct alive between the biggest on-track moments.
Supercars Executive Chairman and acting CEO Barclay Nettlefold said the change reflected the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500’s evolution into one of Australian motorsport’s biggest-weekend experiences, delivering a city-wide festival atmosphere that went beyond a traditional race week schedule with an array of entertainment options.
“The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 has always been more than a race – it is one of the great party weekends on the Australian sporting calendar,” Nettlefold said.
“Sound Track takes that to another level. From the moment the racing fires up through to the final set of the night, fans will have live music, DJs and entertainment all around them on Macintosh Island. With Sound Track, we're bringing more live music, more entertainment and more ways for people to be part of the action.”
This year marks the 35th anniversary of racing on the streets of Surfers Paradise, where Supercars has served as the headline act since 2009.

The 2026 event sees Boost Mobile return as naming rights partner of the event for the fifth consecutive year. The Official Telecommunications Partner of Supercars will again contribute to the event's entertainment offering, on and off the track, throughout the October 23-25 event.

Sound Track was unveiled tonight at IGNITION, a free public event at The Star Gold Coast that brought fans, drivers, artists and local identities together to mark the official countdown to the 2026 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500.
Repco Supercars Championship drivers Will Brown, Jackson Walls, Declan Fraser, Thomas Randle, Cam Waters, Kai Allen and James Golding joined Gold Coast influencers and athletes including Bailey Carter from Those Carter Boys, Jack Dale, Zhad Stewart and Emily Ward to launch the countdown to race week.
The 2026 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 will take place from 23-25 October in Surfers Paradise, supported by Tourism and Events Queensland and Experience Gold Coast.
Tickets are now available through Supercars.com, with fans encouraged to secure their place early for three days of racing, live music and festival-style entertainment on the streets of Surfers Paradise.
