Garry Rogers Motorsport to run iconic Bathurst throwback livery
#34 Camaro livery inspired by 2000 Bathurst winner
Retro-inspired GRM merchandise also announced
Garry Rogers Motorsport has unveiled a retro-inspired livery for its 2026 Repco Bathurst 1000 wildcard entry.
As has long been anticipated, the #34 Chevrolet Camaro will sport a livery that is inspired by the Holden Commodore VT that won the 2000 Bathurst 1000 with Garth Tander and Jason Bargwanna.
The entry, that is being run as a tribute to the legacy of the team's eponymous founder and Supercars Hall of Fame inductee, Garry Rogers, will be piloted by rising star Nathan Herne and GRM veteran James Moffat.
As previously announced, the iconic Valvoline/GRM partnership continues with the oil brand taking naming rights, whilst Repco will also back the one-off entry.
GT Radial, TFH Hire, and Schaeffler will also adorn the Camaro, while Herne and Moffat's Trans Am backers, BlueGold Industries and Advanced Aquarium Technologies, will also make the step up.
HCC Distribution, owners of both the Trans Am and TA2 categories, will also support the entry, with GRM having become one of the leading Trans Am teams in Australia in recent years.
GRM will celebrate the livery and its 2000 victory with a range of retro merchandise, set to go on pre sale in coming days, while the Tander/Bargwanna Commodore will also be on display at Bathurst in October. Merchandise will also be available over the course of the Bathurst event.
The #34 Camaro will test at Winton in September, GRM having purchased the ex-Triple Eight chassis that was Craig Lowndes' final Triple Eight Supercar.
The 2026 Repco Bathurst 1000 will be held from October 8-11, following the AirTouch 500 at The Bend from September 11-13.
