New-for-2026 Supra to feature in post-match celebrations
Brisbane, Geelong to contest Grand Final from 2:30pm local
Footy fans can get a look at the future of Supercars, with the Toyota GR Supra to feature at the AFL Grand Final.
The new-for-2026 Supra will feature in the post-match celebrations on the Melbourne Cricket Ground after Saturday’s game.
The AFL Grand Final will be contested by reigning premiers Brisbane Lions and 2022 winners Geelong Cats from 2:30pm AEST.
It puts the new Supercar in front a major audience of over 100,000 fans in the ground, with the AFL Grand Final also one of the most watched broadcasts of the year in Australia.

In an image supplied to Supercars.com, the Supra is seen being manoeuvred around the MCG in a dress rehearsal ahead of Saturday's game, which will be broadcast live on the Seven Network.
Toyota has been the naming rights partner of the AFL for over 20 years. The AFL and Supercars also share broadcast partners in the Seven Network and Fox Sports.
The Supra has been subject to a testing program ahead of its 2026 debut, with the car also set to complete demonstration laps at coming events.
Notably, the car will hit the track at Mount Panorama at the upcoming Repco Bathurst 1000.
The Supra will also join the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro in the United States for wind tunnel testing in December.
The Supra, Mustang and Camaro have been prepared for the voyage to the US, where Supercars will complete crucial aerodynamic testing.
Tickets for the upcoming Repco Bathurst 1000, on October 9-12, are on sale now.
