Supercars today confirms that Chief Financial Officer Cameron Price has made the decision to step down from his role after 11 years of leading the fiscal elements of the organisation.

Cameron has been a key member of the Supercars leadership team since joining the business in September 2013. Over more than a decade, he has played a pivotal role in shaping Supercars’ financial strategy, strengthening systems and reporting, and guiding the business through significant milestones.

In addition to his role as CFO, Cameron also served as Chief Operating Officer and led Supercars’ risk management framework, ensuring business continuity and long-term resilience.

Supercars CEO Shane Howard has paid tribute to Cameron’s contribution.

“Cam has been an outstanding leader as part pf the Executive Team at Supercars and a trusted advisor to so many of us over the years,” Howard said.

“His financial expertise, steady leadership and ability to remain calm under pressure have helped steer Supercars through some major challenging periods including the global pandemic. He also played a key role in the successful transition of ownership from Archer and the teams to RACE.

“He’s also been a generous mentor to staff across the business and has always gone about his work with integrity, professionalism and a clear passion for the sport.

“On behalf of the entire Supercars team, I want to sincerely thank Cam for everything he’s contributed to the business over the past 11 years. We wish him and his family all the very best for the future.”

Supercars General Manager - Finance, Craig Fulton, will oversee the finance function while a search is undertaken for a new Chief Financial Officer.

Supercars remains in a strong financial position and is well placed to continue building on the solid foundations Cameron helped put in place.
