The fans have spoken, and decided which driver is favourite for the 2025 Repco Sprint Cup.
In a Supercars.com poll, fans were asked who would end the regular season on top, at the halfway mark of the eight-round swing in Tasmania.
The poll closed on Friday, and in a close result, coincidentally, the drivers who finished just 0.05s apart in the Symmons Plains finale were also first and second in the poll.
Triple Eight Race Engineering driver Broc Feeney, who won the first two races in Tasmania, won the poll with 39% of the vote, just ahead of Sunday winner, Penrite Racing driver Matt Payne.
Here’s how the voting broke down amongst the top five:
Broc Feeney, 39%
Matt Payne, 34%
Cam Waters, 10%
Will Brown, 9%
Brodie Kostecki, 3%
In a sign of where the fans think the Sprint Cup will land in 2025, the top two brought home a whopping 73% of the total vote.
Early leader Cam Waters was third with 10% ahead of reigning champion Will Brown on 9%, with Brodie Kostecki and Chaz Mostert bringing in 3% each.
The 2025 Repco Supercars Championship will resume at the Bosch Power Tools Perth Super 440 on June 6-8, before the Sprint Cup closes out with events in Darwin, Townsville and Ipswich.
