Track surface

The Wanneroo track surface is famously abrasive. I recall one year commenting that it looked like there were more chunks of bitumen missing than there were still there. Instead of looking like a golf fairway, flat with a few divots missing, it was like a piece of coarse sandpaper with lots of abrasive rocks sticking up out of it.
