With Wanneroo set to become the first circuit in ATCC/Supercars history to host 100 championship races next weekend, Supercars.com takes a look at some of the biggest stories and moments from the beloved Perth venue.
Throughout several different eras of the Australian Touring Car Championship/Repco Supercars Championship, Perth has been a staple of the national tour.
Eight different manufacturers have claimed victories at Wanneroo Raceway in the 52-year history of ATCC/Supercars competition, with Holden clear at the top of the pile with 50 wins.
Holden have had several dominant streaks throughout the years in Perth, most noticeably when Craig Lowndes won his first 12 races at Perth from 1996 to 2000 for the Holden Racing Team.
Although out of Supercars since the end of 2022, Holden are still well clear of Ford at the top of the all-time Perth wins list, and the only make to crack the half-century.
Indeed, Holden were the dominant force in Group C, the initial Group 3A era of five litre touring car racing from 1993 to 2002, and the Project Blueprint era from 2003 to 2012.
The previous Gen2 era spanning 2013 to 2022 saw four different makes claim race wins in Wanneroo, the biggest range of brands to win races at Perth in any era.
After their now-iconic Adelaide debut, Garry Rogers Motorsport's Volvo program got their first of six championship victories at Perth in 2014 courtesy of Scott McLaughlin, whilst Mercedes got their final win with Will Davison the following year.
Ford claimed top honours in both Group A - courtesy of the fire-breathing Sierra RS500 Cosworth - and also the Gen 2 era thanks in large part to a six-race winning streak for DJR Team Penske from 2017 to 2019.
Should Chevrolet claim one race win next weekend, they will move into outright third on the manufacturers' win list in Perth, with the American marque currently equal on three wins with Nissan.
Although Nissan's three races wins all came in the Group A era, only one of those wins was achieved with the mighty R32 Skyline GT-R, after the first-generation DR30 Skyline went back-to-back in 1986 and 1987.
Allan Moffat's iconic Mazda RX-7 won the final two Group C events in 1983 and 1984, whilst the only other manufacturer to claim a Wanneroo win is BMW, thanks to Jim Richards in the first Group A event in 1985.
