MSR takes Cameron Hill Supercar to Australian Parliament House
Hill is the only full-time Supercars driver from Canberra on the grid
Canberran won first Supercars race at the Grand Prix in March
Matt Stone Racing has visited Australian Parliament House with Cameron Hill’s Chevrolet Camaro Supercar.
In collaboration with the National Capital Authority, Hill's #4 Supaglass Industries Chevrolet Camaro was parked on the lawns of Federation Mall on Tuesday.
It's the first time a current-generation Gen3 Supercar has visited Parliament House, and MSR’s second visit to the nation’s capital with real race car.
It comes after Hill completed demonstration runs at last year's Canberra Festival of Speed.
Hill is the only Canberran racer to compete full-time Supercars in the last two decades years. Naming rights partner of the #4 Camaro, Supaglass Industries, is also a Canberra-based company.

The visit comes after last weekend’s Ryco Enduro Cup opener at The Bend Motorsport Park, the AirTouch 500 at The Bend.
Canberra hosted a championship round between 2000 and 2002, with the Canberra Street Circuit previously running through the Parliamentary Triangle area of Canberra.
Cars used to pass the Treasury Building, the Old Parliament House, the National Archives and the East Block Government Offices, Lake Burley Griffin, National Library of Australia, and also in front of new Parliament House.
“It’s really cool to have the Supaglass Chevy right here on the lawn of Parliament House,” said Hill, who finished second in Sunday's race.
“A very iconic shot, especially for me as a Canberran and for Supaglass who are based in the ACT. It’s a massive credit to Matt Stone Racing for making this happen.
“It’s turned into a very cool morning in my hometown.”
Hill is 13th in the championship with one round remaining before The Finals cut-off, albeit just 51 points outside the top 10.
