Matt Stone Racing launches 2025 campaign with triple reveal
Nick Percat, Cameron Hill joined by wildcard Cameron Crick
Team unveiled new Camaros at fan event in Queensland
Matt Stone Racing has launched its 2025 Supercars campaign, taking the covers off its three Chevrolet Camaros at a fan event.
Nick Percat and Cameron Hill will be joined by wildcard driver Cameron Crick at the Thrifty Sydney 500 - Opening Round on February 21-23.
Percat and Hill will race with tweaked looks in 2025, with Sydneysider Crick to steer a Dormer HVAC-backed Camaro in Sydney. Bendix and Supaglass colours return with Percat and Hill respectively in 2025, with the former winning two races last season en route to eighth overall.
The three Supercars were unveiled in front of fans at a special team launch at MSR’s headquarters in Yatala, Queensland on Tuesday.
“I’m stoked to reveal our 2025 Bendix Racing Camaro in front of fans at this year's MSR launch," Percat said.
The design is a subtle evolution from last year, and it's great to have Bendix back onboard for another season with their iconic blue.
“We've got an important pre-season test day coming up next week in Sydney before we hit the track in anger for Round 1, so now that we have revealed the livery, it's all eyes on preparations for that. Excited to get out there and see how we go this year.”
George Kyriakopoulos, FMP Group Australia – Bendix CEO, said: “Partnering with MSR in the Supercars Championship last year allowed us to increase awareness of our brand among an important demographic in a targeted way.
“The prominent profile of Supercars is also fantastic for the morale of Bendix employees and trade partners, as they see our brand competing on a high-profile stage.
“We look forward to supporting MSR through Team Bendix Racing this year and wish Nick and the team a safe and successful 2025 campaign."
Hill’s look was the first 2025 livery to be unveiled, albeit on MSR’s display car at last month’s Canberra Festival of Speed.
The new-look Supaglass Supercar will hit the track for the first time as part in a shakedown at Queensland Raceway on Thursday, with MSR building a new chassis for the Canberran.
“Great to see the Supaglass Racing livery break cover on the actual race car after our launch in Canberra,” Hill said.
“The MSR crew have been working hard getting our new chassis ready for the 2025 season and it looks fantastic. Excited to get on track for the shakedown later this week before we head to Sydney.”
The second-generation racer will run the #35 in Sydney, a number taken to Super2 title success by Todd Hazelwood in 2017, and raced by the team between 2018 and 2023 in the main game.
“It’s great to reveal our Dormer HVAC Racing livery to everybody,” said Crick.
“This program is an absolute dream come true for me, I’m very excited to have my first solo race in Supercars with the MSR team.
“The car looks awesome which is great to see after all the hard work that has been put into making this project happen over the last few months.
“I have already learnt a lot from Nick and Cam and I plan to take those learnings into my home race at Sydney Motorsport Park. Excited to see what’s in store for us.”
The three new-look MSR Camaros will roll out at the pre-season test day at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 19, and Thrifty Sydney 500 - Opening Round on February 21-23.
