Cooper Murray will run a new-look livery at this weekend's Tasmania round, with Snap-on Tools expanding its presence with Erebus Motorsport.

Long-time Erebus sponsor Snap-on Tools will take centre stage for the first time, revealed Thursday as primary partner on Murray’s #99 Chevrolet Camaro for the Snowy River Caravans Tasmania Super 440.

Snap-on has supplied Erebus with tools both at the track and back in the workshop, with the partnership now extending to a full-car livery.

The red and black colour scheme, which has been brought to life by SS Signs with Orafol and PPG products, will hit the track for the first time on Friday.

Murray sits 23rd in the championship after a rollercoaster start to the year, having carried Chiko (Sydney) and Young Timer Garage (Melbourne and New Zealand) colours as part of a rotating sponsor model.

“Snap-on is an iconic brand in the motorsport world, and to have their support on the #99 car in such a big way is really special,” Murray said.

“It’s a brand I’ve grown up around and respected, so it’s a proud moment to carry their colours in my first full Supercars season.”

Erebus CEO Barry Ryan added: “Snap-on has been with us for a long time and continues to provide the best tools in the business, they’re part of the fabric of this team.

“To have them come on board with a full-car livery just in time for Tasmania is fantastic, and we think the car looks amazing. We’re excited to show it off."

Track action commences in Tasmania for Practice 1 from 11:55am local time.
