Erebus takes covers off split liveries at YTG in Melbourne
Cooper Murray to run Chiko colours for rookie event in Sydney
Jack Le Brocq entry to carry Tyrepower branding in 2025
Bathurst champions Erebus Motorsport have revealed two new-look Chevrolet Camaros at an open house livery reveal at Melbourne’s Young Timer’s Garage.
Returning driver Jack Le Brocq and rookie recruit Cooper Murray helped unveil the team's new looks at YTG in front of fans.
Tyrepower returns as a season-long partner on Le Brocq's #9 Camaro, while Chiko will back Murray's #99 Camaro. Tyrepower also debuts its refreshed branding on Le Brocq's car.
Erebus also confirmed its 2025 co-driver pairings, with Jarrod Hughes and Jobe Stewart to join Le Brocq and Murray respectively for The Bend 500 and Bathurst 1000.
It was a big morning for livery reveals, with Triple Eight Race Engineering revealing its new Red Bull Ampol livery at Highlands Motorsport Park in New Zealand.
“The new Tyrepower livery looks awesome — bold, modern, and fast. It’s fantastic to have their continued support and have them on board for the full season, and I can’t wait to get back out there and see what we can do,” Le Brocq said.
Tyrepower General Manager Rob Smith added: “The partnership with Erebus Motorsport has been a fantastic journey, and we’re thrilled to continue our support in 2025.
"Working alongside Barry and the team has been a great experience, and Jack’s leadership both on and off the track has really strengthened that so we’re all looking forward to what’s to come this season.”
Chiko branding was famously carried to Bathurst success by Erebus last year, with this year's livery designed by Murray himself and Erebus Commercial Manager Carly Hammersley.
Chiko will return as a primary partner of Erebus for the 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000, with a dedicated range of Erebus/Chiko merchandise to be released at the request of fans. A range of Tyrepower merchandise will be released on Monday.
“I had a great time working on the Chiko livery with Carly. Fans fell in love with last year’s car, so we wanted to retain that feel but add a fresh, fun twist for 2025," Murray said.
"It’s bold, it’s eye-catching, and I can’t wait to race it under the lights at SMP. "
While Tyrepower will be raced by Le Brocq for the entire season, the #99 will continue to utilise a revolving sponsorship model, as explained by Erebus CEO Barry Ryan: “We understand that many brands want the impact of a primary partnership but may not have the budget to make it happen in the current climate.
"That’s why we’ve developed a flexible model for that car that allows brands to enjoy all the benefits of a primary partnership — at a significantly reduced spend — while still securing a spot on the car throughout the entire season.
“It’s a unique opportunity that offers fantastic exposure, and we’re confident Cooper’s going to make a big impact this season."
The new-look Erebus Camaros will roll out at the pre-season test day at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 19, and Thrifty Sydney 500 - Opening Round on February 21-23.
