Erebus Motorsport driver Brodie Kostecki will mark the return to racing in Sydney this weekend with a Australian-themed livery.
The new look on the #99 Boost Mobile entry will make its first appearance at the Bunnings Trade Sydney SuperNight.
The Kostecki livery is akin to the team’s wildcard scheme for New Zealand duo Greg Murphy and Richie Stanaway.
However, instead of a kiwi bird, Perth-born Kostecki's #99 Commodore will feature a kangaroo on the sides.
The livery will be carried for the remainder of the 2021 season.
Kostecki's signing with Erebus on a full-time deal for 2021 coincided with the arrival of major Boost Mobile backing.
The 23-year-old claimed a maiden podium at Sandown in March, and is 11th overall heading to Sydney.
"It’s always exciting to see a new livery, particularly seeing the two Erebus Boost Commodores side by side," Kostecki said.
"It’s great to see the two liveries paying homage to our home countries, but everyone knows that kangaroos are faster than kiwis so hopefully we’ll see that on track.
"I’m really looking forward to getting back in the car today, and then getting stuck into four back-to-back weekends of racing.
"There is no better way to prepare for the biggest race of the year."
It's not the first Aussie-themed Erebus livery; notably, the team carried an Australian flag on its 2017 car en route to Bathurst victory.
"We’ve had some brilliant Australian-themed liveries before, particularly at Bathurst," Erebus CEO Barry Ryan said.
"The kangaroo and the kiwi are both national emblems, and highlight our country's patriotism.
"It’s not only going to set up an exciting battle between our Aussie and Kiwi drivers, but give the fans something to get behind."
Boost Mobile Founder Peter Adderton added: "At Boost Mobile we have always been about the fans, the entertainment and supporting drivers and teams in a sport that we love.
"There are many great stories about the ongoing battle between Australian and New Zealand drivers and to see who comes out on top at Bathurst is one of them.
"We’ve had some fun with the liveries on both #51 and #99 and it’s great to see them come to life."
Kostecki will take to his new-look Boost Mobile Commodore at Winton Motor Raceway on Tuesday.
The 2021 Repco Supercars Championship will continue at this weekend’s Bunnings Trade Sydney SuperNight. Tickets for all four upcoming Sydney events are on sale now.
All sessions will be broadcast live on Fox Sports and streamed via Kayo.
The Seven Network will broadcast live from 3:30pm AEDT on Saturday and 12:30pm AEDT on Sunday.
