Jake Kostecki’s maiden campaign with Tickford Racing will also come with a new-look colour scheme.

Tickford announced Wednesday that Kostecki’s first season with the team will come with Tradie on the car.

The Australian-owned workwear and lifestyle brand has signed on as the naming rights partner of the #56 Ford Mustang.

Kostecki shifted from Matt Stone Racing in the off-season to help Tickford form an expanded four-car line-up.

The 22-year-old will be joined by recruit Thomas Randle and incumbents Cam Waters and James Courtney.

"I’m stoked to have Tradie on board my Mustang this year, to represent one of the most fun brands in the sport is going to be awesome," he said.

"They’re unapologetically Australian and love to have some fun, I like to think I fit that description and the team at Tickford definitely does, so I think we’ll be in for a blast of a year on and off the track.

"I really can’t wait to show off the look of the car and get my first laps in the Tradie Mustang, it’s a really exciting time.

"I can’t thank the team at Tradie enough for their support, and I’m looking forward to giving it a red hot crack once we get out there."

Tradie founder and CEO Ben Goodfellow added: "When we first partnered with Tickford in 2018 we talked about how we’d love to have fully-branded Tradie Supercar someday, so to see this become reality is a dream come true.

Tickford boss Tim Edwars said: "We’ve had a tremendous relationship with Tradie on and off the track since 2018, and are absolutely delighted to sign them up as the naming rights partner on Jake Kostecki's Mustang for 2022.

“We’re very excited to pair them up for an exciting season ahead.

"We’re looking forward to seeing Jake make his race debut for us in just a few weeks.”

Kostecki will turn his first Tickord laps at Winton pre-season testing in late February.
