The passionate and often heated rivalry between Ford and Holden is set to be explored in a new feature-length documentary.
Aiming to capture Australia’s longstanding affection for the iconic brands, Ford vs. Holden is currently under development in Brisbane.
Supported by the Queensland Government and receiving funding from Screen Queensland, Australian production company WildBear Entertainment will undertake the production.
The documentary will feature archival footage and exclusive interviews with motorsport icons, including Supercars Hall of Famer and three-time Bathurst 1000 winner Dick Johnson.
Narrated by Australian actor Shane Jacobson, the Queensland-based documentary is expected in Australian cinemas in April 2022.
"WildBear is so excited to continue working with Screen Queensland and Universal Pictures Content Group to tell the story of the rivalry between these two powerhouse brands and the impact they have had on Australian culture," WildBear Principal and Producer, Veronica Fury said.
