Australia's leading equipment hire company, Coates Hire, has expanded their sponsorship of the V8 Supercars Championship, taking naming rights over the season ending Sydney 500.
Coates Hire, an existing long-term sponsor of the Championship, have agreed to a multi-year naming rights agreement which will see theChampionship deciderbecome the Coates Hire Sydney 500 until 2018.
Withover130yearsin market, Coates Hire supplies equipment and temporary infrastructure services toawide variety of markets including Government,
Engineering, Building Construction, Maintenance, Mining and Resources, Manufacturing and Events.
The naming rights of the Coates Hire Sydney 500 is in addition to Coates Hire's position as the Official Hire Equipment Sponsor of the V8 Supercars Championship, where they provideV8 Supercars with all of the essential equipment and servicesrequired to run all V8 Supercarspromoted events.
Coates Hirehave a long history with the sport, having held the naming rightssponsor position for the Coates Hire Ipswich SuperSprintfor the last three years. They also sponsorthe Coates HireLeaderboard, featuredin both the V8 TV broadcast and online at v8supercars.com.au.
V8 Supercars Commercial Director Matt Braid said that it was extremely encouraging to see a long-term series partner like Coates Hire looking to expand their presence in the sport.
