Zane Goddard will carry a tweaked livery design for next weekend's NTI Townsville 500.

Matt Stone Racing has released a render of the new #35 Yellow Cover Racing livery.

The Nick Moss-designed livery gives Yellow Cover coverage on the rear quarter as well as both side doors, leaving additional room for fellow partners.

According to the team, the new livery has been modelled off a NASCAR style-scheme.

The updated scheme allows more prominent coverage for sponsors Integrated Powerhouse, AB Crane Hire, LJ Building, Raynor Plumbing, Caribou and Duce.

The new scheme has been mooted for the Townsville event, but the team has flagged it could remain a permanent fixture for the remainder of the season.

Goddard is 20th in the standings heading to next weekend's event.
