Erebus unveils Coca-Cola Camaro at Movie World

Coca-Cola Racing by Erebus has become the first team to reveal a Gen3 Camaro livery.

Erebus — which welcomes Coca-Cola naming rights in 2023 — uncovered its new look at Movie World.

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has backed Erebus since 2019, and will be naming rights partner until at least 2024.

Drivers Will Brown and Brodie Kostecki were on hand at Movie World to help the team launch its 2023 season.

Erebus will run two of the 14 Chevrolet Camaros entered in the 2023 Repco Supercars Championship.

The team previously ran Holden Commodores between 2016 and 2022, having debuted with Mercedes E63s in 2013.

Brown and Kostecki have formed the team's line-up since 2021, and are signed through to the end of 2024.

It comes a day after Matt Stone Racing took to Queensland Raceway to test the first Gen3 Camaro.

“It’s a privilege to be up here at Movie World today to show off our new look for 2023,” Erebus Managing Director Shannen Kiely said.

“There has never been a more exciting time for our sport, and the launch of our new car marks a significant milestone not only for the category but also our team.

“We are very proud to unveil our Coca-Cola Camaros, and I’d like to thank all of our team partners for their support.”

“We look forward to hitting the track next week and getting the new season underway.”

The red design is centred on a black PPG base wrapped in Metamark.

The iconic Coca-Cola ribbon also features on the livery, which also has prominent Shaw and Partners branding on the bonnet and rear quarters.

The team is also backed by Grays, Southern Cross Truck Rentals, Pedders, PPG Industries, Snap-on Tools, Supagas, Australian Army, Sparco, Metamark, natiive, Workwear Discounts, Rampage, CM Security, Griffith Corporation, Motorsport Distributors Group, New Balance, Rain Bird, D2N Technology Solutions, The Cover Shop, Booran GMSV, Mechanix Wear, Hawk Carts and Noise Guard.

The Erebus Gen3 Camaro will be on display at Northcliffe Surf Club at the Shaw and Partners Shannon Eckstein Ironman Classic.

The Bathurst-winning team will test its new cars at Winton Motor Raceway next week.

Lyndon Hunter, CCEP National Partnerships Manager, added: "We are delighted to be here on the Gold Coast unveiling our brand new Supercars for 2023.

“On behalf of CCEP I would like to acknowledge the tremendous effort from Erebus who have worked hard over the holiday period to ensure the cars are ready for the 2023 season.

“The cars look amazing, and we cannot wait to see Brodie and Will in the striking red Camaro."

The 2023 Repco Supercars Championship will commence in Newcastle on March 10-12.

Tickets are on sale on Supercars.com and Ticketek.com.
