Supercars is committed to ensuring fans of all types — whether lifelong supporters or newcomers — can experience the best touring car racing in the world. To make events more accessible, new ticketing packages have been introduced:

Single-day and multi-day passes
A Double Pass covering both New Zealand events

In a landmark move, the opening day of the 2026 Championship at Sydney Motorsport Park — Friday, February 20 — will be free for all fans. This is your chance to witness the first-ever Supercars race featuring the Toyota GR Supra on Australian soil.
The 2026 calendar features 14 rounds, the most since 2019. For the first time, fans will enjoy a New Zealand double-header in April, with Taupō followed by Christchurch, bringing the championship closer to Kiwi fans than ever before.
Perth’s round shifts to follow Townsville, creating a fresh rhythm in the middle of the season. After Tasmania in May, the improved cadence ensures teams and supporters enjoy a more balanced journey from start to finish.
Another huge crowd is expected for the great race, the 2026 Repco Bathurst 1000, after the 2025 event delivered one of the greatest races in history.
With over 198,000 fans attending in 2025 to watch Kiwi Matt Payne and now-retired Garth Tander conquer the Mountain, anticipation is already building for the 66th running of the Great Race from October 8–11, 2026.
The success of the inaugural Supercars Finals Series will be followed by a second edition in 2026, kicking off at the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 from October 23–25, Queensland’s largest annual sporting event set on the streets of Surfers Paradise.
The Penrite Oil Sandown 500 will shift to November 13–15, serving as the penultimate round of the season. As part of the Finals Series format, Sandown will be pivotal in narrowing the championship contenders from seven to four, setting the stage for the Adelaide Grand Final in late November.
Supercars Chief Executive James Warburton said: “2026 is shaping up as a blockbuster year for Supercars. Toyota joins the grid, Triple Eight returns to Ford, and we make history with a debut in Christchurch — it’s a season fans will be talking about for years.”
“More than 1.6 million fans walked through the gates at Supercars events in 2025, and that momentum is only growing as the sport enters its most exciting chapter ever.
“On and off the track, we’re focused on delivering the ultimate fan experience — whether that’s through new ticketing options, better access, or world-class entertainment.”
“With family passes, Paddock upgrades and Pit Lane walks, the 2026 season introduces flexible ticketing options designed to enhance accessibility and deliver a more immersive experience for fans.”
