Vote for your favourite celebration burnout of 2024 in our poll

There are few greater sights in motorsport than celebratory burnouts, and we were spoilt with some memorable skids in the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship.

There were some repeat offenders this year, some riding kerbs, others tearing up run-off areas, and a champion saluting a big year with a series of wild skids.

Will Brown, Cam Waters, Chaz Mostert, Brodie Kostecki and Andre Heimgartner all laid down some impressive celebrations this year, but which was your favourite?

Watch the 10 best burnouts in 2024, and have your say in our poll below!

Andre Heimgartner, Taupō

The hometown hero snapped a three-year winless streak on the best possible stage, with Taupō the scene of an emotional victory for Heimgartner. The caveat? A downpour created an interesting stage for the Kiwi, and he delivered in front of his cheering local fans.

Will Brown, Taupō

A day later, Brown defeated teammate Broc Feeney in a thrilling race, scoring his third win of the season. After cruising to victory lane in Bathurst and Melbourne, Brown made sure he celebrated his Taupō win, sliding around the track before repeating Heimgartner's efforts near the chicane.

Chaz Mostert, Perth

Another drought was broken in Perth, this time by Mostert, who claimed his first win in a Ford since 2019. Despite the win coming on a Saturday, Mostert put his car to the test with a big burnout, which included a ride over the big final corner kerb.

Cam Waters, Townsville

Waters put down a big burnout in Perth, but took it to another level in Townsville following a thrilling battle with Chaz Mostert. Waters took to the run-off area near the back straight and put on a big smoke show, which led to epic images near the fan site.

Chaz Mostert, Sydney

Back-to-back wins in Sydney gave Mostert the platform to send his Ford into celebratory skids, with the star driver flicking his Ford into a wild spin before getting lost in his own smoke show at the run-off area at Turn 8.

Cam Waters, Tasmania

Waters marked his third win of 2024 and first at Symmons Plains with a long burnout along the run to the hairpin, in front of the fans lining the straight. Echoing scenes of Chaz Mostert from 2021, Waters blanketed the crowd with his burnout smoke, creating an iconic wide shot.

Will Brown, Sandown

Brown stepped up his burnout game with a series of skids, first at the Turn 6 run-off, and later on pit straight. It was a celebration befitting of a driver in control of the championship, with over 60,000 taking in the weekend's dramatic action.

Brodie Kostecki, Bathurst

Not content with a burnout on pit straight after taking the chequered flag, Kostecki made the most of a new-look victory lane set-up with a thrilling slide through pit entry into the podium area.

Cam Waters, Gold Coast

For the second year in succession, Waters won in Surfers Paradise, and he made sure to make the occasion with a big burnout at the Turn 4 hairpin run-off area.

Will Brown, Adelaide

Brown guaranteed himself centre stage on Sunday with the champion's burnout, and after winning a thrilling race, the Triple Eight driver kicked it off at Turn 9. He slid around to the final corner, where after getting the green light, wowed the crowd with efforts that earned particular praise from Russell Ingall, even if he copped a few blows in the process.
