'Frosty' rejoined team alongside Cam Waters for enduros
Mark Winterbottom has extended his deal with Tickford Racing.
The 2015 Supercars champion has signed a two-year extension with the Mustang squad, committing to Tickford until at least the end of 2028.
The deal takes Winterbottom into a fourth season in his second stint with the Ford team, having rejoined alongside Cam Waters for the 2025 Ryco Enduro Cup.
Winterbottom raced full-time for the team between 2006 and 2018, before signing on with Team 18.
The Sydney-born driver raced General Motors machinery with Team 18 between 2019 and 2024, before being moved on for Anton De Pasquale.
Tickford moved to lock down 'Frosty' on a co-driver deal alongside star driver Waters, and the duo powered to second at the 2025 enduro opener at The Bend.
Winterbottom is also mentoring Tickford's young guns in the DUNLOP Super2 Series.
The new deal takes Winterbottom through to the team until age 47, and helps him close in on Craig Lowndes' all-time starts record.
"Very excited to be locking in my extension with the team for another two years," Winterbottom said.
"Working with Cam has been great and we have had a really good relationship that goes back to when he first joined the Tickford team.
"The goal is to win the big one and get Cam over the line because he has been close plenty of times, so to do that with him would be really good.
"I also really enjoy working with the Autosport Program, it fulfills a part of competing that comes without jumping in the car so there is so much that I continue to get out of it.
"Helping that next generation chase that full time Supercars seat has been really rewarding and our goal is to continue that success within the program."
Tickford Racing CEO Simon Brookhouse added: "We are incredibly excited to have Mark continue with the team for another two years.
"His talent, understanding of the sport and way he works with the Autosport program is second to none and a lot of credit deserves to go his way for how the team have grown since he returned.
"We look forward to executing a strong Ryco Enduro cup with Mark in Car #6 and then getting him back involved with the Autosport drivers as they close out their season."
