The Bend Motorsport Park unveils revamped fan experience for pre-Bathurst enduro
All-new infield campground to be added for Ryco Enduro Cup opener
Ticket prices dropped across weekend, AirTouch 500 to be held September 11-13
The Bend Motorsport Park have announced several additions to the fan experience for the 2026 Ryco Enduro Cup calendar in September.
After debuting in 2025, the AirTouch 500 at The Bend will once again be the pre-Bathurst enduro in 2026, and will be run on the shorter West Circuit, last used by Supercars in 2020.
That will see that lap count rise from 102 to 147 year-on-year, with the additional fan offerings set to add further to the experience of the event.
For the first time, The Bend will open infield campsites for a Repco Supercars Championship event, something the venue describes as 'creating a true NASCAR-style stay-trackside experience for fans wanting to immerse themselves in the enduro atmosphere.'
Also announced was a drop in ticket prices, with general admission tickets starting from just $39, whilst kids under four get free entry. Paddock entry is also free.
Exisiting accomodation options of the Northern Apex Campground (formerly Northern Campground), Horizon Camp Ground (formerly Southern Campground), The Bend Holiday Park, and the Rydges Pit Lane Hotel are also available.
Accomodation bookings are recommended to be made early, with all accomodation selling out last year.
The Bend Motorsport Park Managing Director Dr. Sam Shahin is excited to show off the improvements come September.
“We’ve super-charged our camping offering. The shorter West Circuit means more laps, more wheel-to-wheel battles and relentless race-side intensity, and now fans can stay right in the middle of it," Shahin said.
“Last year our fans told us they loved the racing, the action-packed line up on and off track, and the relaxed country enduro atmosphere - so we have gone even bigger and better in 2026.
"We’ve ramped up every part of the event to deliver more experiences, more wow moments and real value for money.
"If you’ve ever been curious about coming to The Bend, this is the year to do it — there’s something for everyone.”
Supercars Chief Executive James Warburton added: “With more laps and an improved offering, it is great to see the fan experience at the AirTouch 500 step up year on year.
“Endurance racing really suits The Bend, and Gen3 Supercars racing on the West Circuit will provide a new challenge for drivers and teams.
"We expect this will lead to even closer on-track action, while off-track fans will have the same first class access the Championship is known for.
"This is a great step in the evolution of The Bend and its Supercars endurance race, and we look forward to returning to South Australia this September."
The 2026 AirTouch 500 at The Bend will be held from September 11-13. Current championship leader Brodie Kostecki is the defending champion alongside co-driver Todd Hazelwood. Tickets are on sale through The Bend Motorsport Park website.
