The Brodie Kostecki/Todd Hazelwood Shell V-Power Ford will start from the best possible position for Sunday's AirTouch 500 at The Bend.
Kostecki, who won the 2025 edition of the race with Hazelwood, charged from sixth in Boost Mobile Qualifying to top spot in the run-off to clinch his seventh pole of the season.
Kostecki edged out Matt Payne, who will share his #19 Penrite Mustang with two-time Bathurst winner Will Davison.
