Eggleston Motorsport sign Bayley Hall for 2026 Super2 season
Hall completes four-driver Eggleston roster
Porsche graduate will also drive Team 18 main game wildcard this year
Fresh off being confirmed as the latest young gun to partner Craig Lowndes in Team 18's Supercars wildcard Camaro, Bayley Hall has been officially confirmed as Eggleston Motorsport's fourth driver for this year's DUNLOP Super2 Series.
Eggleston have become something of an unofficial home for Lowndes' co-drivers in recent years, with Cooper Murray contesting the first four rounds of 2024, and Zach Bates contesting a full season last year.
The Carrera Cup graduate joins incumbents Cody Burcher, Elliott Cleary, and Bradi Owen in the four-car squad, and also showed plenty of speed at the Bathurst 12 Hour behind the wheel of a McLaren.
Hall's shift to the Supercars pathway comes after a strong 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup season where he finished fourth, and was selected as Australia's representative in the Porsche Junior Shootout.
The Queenslander will be one of four rookies in this year's field, along with Tommy Smith (Matt Stone Racing), Alice Buckley (Alice Buckley Motorsport), and Hamish Fitzsimmons (Masterton Motorsport).
“I’m grateful to Ben and Rachael for providing me with this opportunity, which marks a significant step forward in my motorsport career. Their belief in my potential paves the way for further success in my motorsport journey,” said Hall, who tested with Eggleston last week.
“Progressing into the Supercars Championship with Team 18 and Supercheap Auto Racing as a wildcard entry this year is a major milestone for me, and competing in Super2 will not only be a great chance to prepare for my wildcard entries, but it will also be a competitive environment to measure myself against the best young talent in the country.

“Eggleston Motorsport has a proven track record of developing drivers and providing a launch pad to become a professional racing driver. This opportunity offers me the best environment to refine my craft and work toward a full-time career in Supercars.
“My first test day in the car was a really memorable experience. To finally get behind the wheel of a Supercar is something I’ve dreamt of since I was a kid. To be able to use features like adjustable roll bars, stick shift and the technique of heel-toe downshifts is a lot of fun, and something I haven’t done since I was in grassroots racing.
“This will be an amazing new challenge for me and I can’t wait to throw everything I have at it. I’m looking forward to hitting the track at Sydney Motorsport Park this week.”
Eggleston Motorsport co-owner and Team Manager Rachael Eggleston added: “We are super excited to have Bayley join the team in 2026.
"He fit in seamlessly at our test days last week and took to the Supercar really quickly. While it's quite different to anything he has driven before, he loved it from the minute he got in the car and we couldn’t wipe the smile off his face.
“Despite being classed as a rookie, I have no doubt his professional approach and the way he applies himself will see him adapt at a fast pace.
"He is so hungry to learn and takes everything on board which is something we really look for in young drivers. Once you get to this level, nothing replaces hard work, and there is no doubting that with Bayley.
“We are really looking forward to being a part of Bayley's Supercars career and giving him all the knowledge, support and resource he needs for success.”
That leaves the second seat at the returning Matt Chahda Motorsport to be filled, with former Eggleston driver Jordyn Sinni - last year's Sydney round winner - emerging as the favourite for seat this weekend.
Super2 action this weekend begins with two practice sessions on Friday at Sydney Motorsport Park, at 12:50pm and 6:25pm local time.
