Alice Buckley to contest 2026 DUNLOP Super2 Series
Buckley to race a family-run Commodore in conjunction with Matt Stone Racing
Teenager set to become the fourth female to contest a full-time Super2 campaign
Rising star Alice Buckley has confirmed that she will make her first attempt at the DUNLOP Super2 Series in 2026.
18-year-old Buckley is set to become the first woman to contest a full Super2 campaign since 2023, when Elly Morrow drove for Tickford Racing.
Buckley will become just the fourth female to compete in Super2 full-time, following Morrow, Renee Gracie, and Leanne Ferrier, who finished fifth in the 2001 Super2 Series with Garry Rogers Motorsport.
Amber Anderson, Chelsea Angelo, and Abbie Eaton have also competed in Super2 in one-offs or part-time schedules.
Buckley will race the #50 Holden ZB Commodore, which will be run by her own family team, with support from Matt Stone Racing.
It continues a rapid rise through the ranks for the Gold Coast teenager, who had a breakout campaign in 2025 across several categories.
Buckley rewrote the record books on multiple occasions, the first of which came when she won on debut in the TA2 Muscle Car Series at Ipswich in June, becoming the first female race winner in the category.
She then won the TA2 Tag Team Enduro event at the same venue two months later alongside mentor and Supercars race winner Tim Slade, before becoming the first female champion of the Toyota GAZOO Racing Australia Scholarship Series in September.
The highly-touted Buckley has also competed in international Formula 4 competition, and also drove at the Ferrari Academy in 2022.
Now, Buckley takes another step towards her dream of becoming the first full-time female Supercars driver since Simona de Silvestro in 2019. No Australian-born females have ever contested a full-time season in the Supercars era.

"I'm so excited to be racing the Holden Commodore in the Dunlop Super2 series this year. I'm most excited about it being the feeder category for Supercars, and that's where I want to go,” Buckley said.
“We've decided to make the jump this year to a really exciting program. I’m incredibly appreciative of Matt’s support and grateful to be joining both the Super2 paddock and the Matt Stone Racing development program.
"I had a great time testing with the team in December last year and definitely felt it was a natural fit."
Buckley's programme will be run as a satellite entry to MSR's two official Super2 entries to be driven by Ayrton Hodson and Tommy Smith.
The four-time Supercars race-winning organisation will offer engineering, mechanical and race support to the Buckley operation this season.
MSR team owner Matt Stone said that being able to retain her position in her independent family-run team provides her with the right opportunity to continue her development.

“This programme is about creating the right environment for development,” Stone said.
“Alice is a proven race winner and has shown exceptional potential, and by supporting her with our engineering and race expertise, we’re aiming to give her the best possible platform to grow and succeed in Super2 and beyond.”
Also revealed was the white, black, green, and gold livery that will adorn Buckley's Commodore throughout the season.
Buckley brings the famous colours of Castrol into her Super2 campaign, alongside another long-time supporter in Bendworx.
AC Delco, GM Specialty Vehicles, Autobarn, Shannons Insurance, IVE Group, and Llewellyn GMSV also feature.
The 2026 DUNLOP Super2 Series begins at the DUNLOP Sydney 500 from February 20-22. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
